All electric power tools are completely disassembled during the repair process. All gear lubricant is completely removed for inspection of the gear train. Armatures are tested on an armature growler tester to check for open or for grounded windings. Field windings are checked by means of a high pot tester. All tools are inspected prior to disassembly to insure the customer the tool is worth proceeding with the repair. All air power tools are completely disassembled and each part is thoroughly inspected for wear. All lubricant is completely removed and discarded. 		Portable Generator Repair Eskew Enterprises' technicians are well trained to service most brands of portable generators, and we are a factory authorized warranty service center for many manufacturers of generators as well as the gasoline engine power source. Our service department is equipped with all the necessary testing devices as required by the various manufacturers. After disassembly and cleaning, all stators and rotors are thoroughly checked using armature growlers, high pot testers, and continuity meters. If ground fault receptacles are installed, each one is individually checked for proper operation. If the manufacturer makes service kits available, our technicians install the kit according to the factory recommendation. If kits are not available, each individual seal, o-ring, wiper, etc. is purchase from a dependable manufacturer. 		Pipe Threading & Pipe Bending Tool Repair The Eskew Enterprises service department is capable of repairing all brands of pipe threading and bending tools, both manual and power driven. All threading dies are carefully examined for wear, and replaced if necessary. Hand threaders are carefully checked for proper reversing operation, and replacement reverse levers, pawls, springs, etc. are installed if necessary. Electric powered threaders go through the same careful evaluation as all other electric power tools that are sent to our shop. 		Portable Kerosene and Liquid Petroleum (LP) Heater Repair A very large inventory of replacement parts for portable heaters is maintained to assure our customers of quick turnaround of repairs to their portable heater. Our technicians adhere closely to manufacturer’s specifications in order to assure the user that the repaired heater will operate satisfactorily when it is needed.
